Corona in one or more series of thread-like filaments or scales or annular. Stamens (4) 5 to numerous. Ovary superior, on a gynophores or subsessile, 1-locular, styles 1 or 3, free or partially connate. Fruit berry or loculicidally 3-5 valved capsule.
