Description
Woody,
climbing shrubs. Leaves opposite, broad, membranous with distinct nerves. Cymes
axillary or sub-terminal, lax, panicled. Flowers large, white, fragrant. Calyx
5-partite. Corolla salver-shaped, throat contracted, lobes broad. Stamens
included, inserted in the middle of the tube, filaments short, anthers
sagittate. Disc annular, 5-fid. Carpels 2, distinct, styles filiform. Follicles
elongate, narrow, compressed. Seeds tipped by a deciduous comma.
