in throat, lobes exceeding tube. Anthers subsessile on rim of corolla tube,
exserted. Ovary 2-locular with septal placentae, style head fusiform, almost
bilobed, briefly exserted. Fruits fleshy, ovoid to ellipsoid, large, calyx
persistent. Seeds numerous, oblong, compressed.
