Description


A small epiphytic fern, rarely terrestrial on tree trunks. Rhizome widely creeping, slender. Stipe distantly placed, winged on the upper part, glabrous throughout. Fronds small pinnatified to tripinnatified. Lamina flabellate or digitate to pinnately divided, then uni-quadripinnate. Veins free, false veins visible. Sporangia subsessile, compressed, with oblique annulus. Sorus terminal on the ultimate one-veined lobes, or marginal at vein endings, on the base enclosed in the tubular or conical hollow base of the indusium. Spores tetrahedral or globose-tetrahedral, greenish with thin perispore.
