Description


Epiphytic or terrestrial ferns, grows on moss covered rocks. Rhizome creeping, filiform. Stipe winged throughout but winged or not at the attachment of the stipe and rhizome. Fronds minute, tri-pinnatifid, distant not tufted, pinnae tubular to trumpet in shape, the mouth truncate or dilated or sometimes 2-lipped. Margin entire. Veins not visible. Sori terminal, always terminating a veinor less sunken in the frond. Receptacle usually elongating considerably and producing from the old sori as a slender curved bristle.
