Epiphytic or terrestrial ferns,
grows on moss covered rocks. Rhizome creeping, filiform. Stipe winged
throughout but winged or not at the attachment of the stipe and rhizome. Fronds
minute, tri-pinnatifid, distant not tufted, pinnae tubular to trumpet in shape,
the mouth truncate or dilated or sometimes 2-lipped. Margin entire. Veins not
visible. Sori terminal, always terminating a veinor less sunken in the frond.
Receptacle usually elongating considerably and producing from the old sori as a
slender curved bristle.
