Rhizome creeping, sparsely scaly.Stipes borne in close series. Fronds of indefinite apical growth, spirally arranged, pinnate, many buds present on the rachis forming new plants freely, rachis bearing forked unicellular hairs, pinnae sub-entire, firm herbaceous. Texture glossy green.Veins nearly all anastomosing with a few residual free ones running to the margin.Sori, apical elongate along the veinletsindusiate, with a reniformindusium, sporangial stalks bearing hairs having terminal glandular cell, annulas usually consists of 16 cells. Spores mono-lete, biateral, perisperiate, brown.
