Description


Rhizome short-creeping, roots abundant densely covered with brown hair, scales clathrate, toothed, uniformly or differently thickened. Fronds simple linear, narrow, entire, leathery, stipulate or sessile, usually without distinct stipe. Lamina glabrous above and below. Lateral veins slightly distinct in some cases, entire midrib obscure to distinct, to the apex of the frond. Sorus linear, with a single row at each side of the costa, in marginal or extra-marginal grooves, extrose or erect. Spores yellowish-green to bright yellow, spores monolete and exine smooth.
