glabrous or faintly pimpled on both surfaces, thinly coriaceous, exstipulate.
Inflorescence axillary racemes, rachis slender. Flowers bisexual, hypogynous,
glabrous; bracts broadly scaly, pale green. Perianth urceolate, limb 4-partite.
Stamens 4, opposite to the perianth lobes, filaments flattened. Ovary superior,
unilocular, ovule solitary, stigmas on a short style. Fruit a drupe, ellipsoid
to obovoid, with a crustaceous stone. Seeds pendulous.
