Petals free or slightly connate at the base, elliptic to oblong. Stamens as many as corolla lobes, filaments slender, elongate, anthers ovoid or oblong. Ovary superior, flask-shaped, pyriform or ovoid, unilocular, styles short, stigmas disc-shaped, capitate. Berry globose or obovoid, 1-seeded, glabrous. Seeds subglobose.
